Here’s the thing about eyeshadows…they are not something in short supply. In fact, with their main constituents being mineral based, theoretically, you could argue that when it comes to commercial brands, you might have a lot more variety to include in your untainted array of colours. Do not be fooled by the trickery! Not all eyeshadows are created equal. This little beauty, however, is a perfect example of a brand that has not compromised on ingredients or efficacy. If you follow my work as a makeup artist, you will know that I have been a fan of RMS Beauty for many years, and the eye polishes feature heavily in my work. There are times, however, when you just need something with a little more longevity and control. Swift Shadows provide the solution, flawlessly. I had been coveting RMS Beauty Swift Shadows since they landed on our shores, but struggled to decide on only a couple of colours to add to my already extensive collection of untainted eyeshadows. I became debilitated with choice so to speak.
When compiling this issue about magic, alchemy and the supernatural, it was the perfect opportunity to finally get my hands on a pot all of my own. I used it for our exclusive beauty editorial, Confessions of A White Witch. I used it in the inner part of the eye socket and up into the eyebrow for a more mysterious look.
A long-wearing formulation that doesn’t dry your skin out. Multifunctional application and multifaceted colour payoff. In short, I have been left spellbound.
And yes, my choice in colour was decided by on nothing more than the name of the colour. I mean, come on… Enchanted Moonlight. How could I not include it in “The Magician” issue?
If you add a little water to your brush, you can intensify the colour and create sharper shapes. It also works beautifully of cream eyeshadows.
