issue seven : folklore & fairytales

Think moonlight on muddy waters… RMS Beauty’s new range of highlighters include this little pot of magic. Following suit on RMS Beauty’s cult Living Luminizer, this is a somewhat more “sophisticated” version. With champagne-undertones and denser and creamier colour (as apposed to the super-dew of Living Luminizer), this highlighter is the perfect accompaniment to makeup looks that have deeper, richer tones either around the eyes, cheeks or lip colours. It feels a little more autumn in mood. I’ve been using it a lot recently. It doubles up as a handy little cream eye shadow. It is great for evening events with flash photography, as well as wonderful for natural, moodier lighting set ups when you just need a little hint of inner-glow.

While certainly, this wonderful creamy highlighter as a definite place in my professional kit, it doesn’t replace the original Living Luminzer, as it can look a little dense on the fairest of the fair and the darkest of the dark skin tones..
