Brand Review : Therapy Honey Skincare
issue one : borrowed from before
If you haven't realised it by now, this issue of Untainted, Borrowed from Before; is exploring all sorts of things that have managed to transcend the past and find its own footing in the here and now. From people, ideas and ingredients.
A couple of these ancient ingredients are honey and beeswax. There couldn't be a more relevant brand to talk about then, than Therapi Honey Skincare.
A love story
Therapi's story is about a love affair with bees, and occasional sparks of genius which has helped them to formulate a range of unique organic honey skincare products, that in turn, you and I can fall in love with.
The brand story is built around the symbiotic relationship of the bee and the flower. Bees have created the great diversity of flora and fauna of our planet through 100 million years of evolution. They are central to the story of beauty itself, the beauty of our shared home – Earth.
The companies aims are simple: They wanted to create the best natural and organic honey skincare products, which benefit not only the user but also the natural world in all its diversity and splendour.
They donate least 5% of their profits to bee conservation projects.
If any of you follow my work as a makeup artist, you will see that I credit Therapi a lot. The Rose Otto and Propolis Ultra Radiance Moisturiser is hands down my favourite moisturiser to achieve effortlessly radiant, editorial skin.
They do of course offer a full range of skin care products for all your skin requirements. So if the daring glow isn't you're cup of tea, be sure to check out the rest of their range.
Love these little starter sets. Great for travelling and keeping the kit light!
